Competition Programmes

Feature-Length Documentary Competition: A selection of bold, original films with a running time of 52 minutes or more, presenting a strong authorial voice and ambitious formal exploration.
Short Documentary Competition: Daring and innovative documentary works up to 52 minutes in length.

Non-Competition Programmes

Special Screenings: A curated non-competitive program featuring gala premieres, thematic discoveries, and special event screenings.
Retrospective Program: Dedicated to the rich legacy of Kyrgyz non-fiction cinema. In 2026, the retrospective marks the 90th anniversary of the outstanding documentary filmmaker Algimantas Vidugiris.

UmutDoc Industry Platform:

A dedicated professional program for Central Asian filmmakers, including Project Pitching, Project Showcase, and public educational events.
